What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on starting purchasing building materials and constructed an external house for cooking and partly for accommodating my children at night. Besides that, I opened a shop business that is currently doing so well and generating me a lot of income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that the transfers have enabled me begin a business to help me utilize my spare time which previously went into waste
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did so well in assuring us of the transfers at an interval of two months that resulted to development of much trust.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to buy furniture since l was sitting on a very old future which was very uncomfortable. I spent the transfer to start digging and building pit latrine, I also spent the transfer to pay school fee for my children who are in secondary school. The remaining balance l spent to buy mattress for my children and to buy I sack of maize for my consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have very comfortable furniture and my children are also going to school like any other children with out any problem.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part of the transfer to start a second-hand shoes selling business. Secondly, I intend to use another part of the transfer to build a toilet. Lastly, I plan to use the remaining amount to pay school fees for my child whom I expect to join secondary school next year.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Having built this my house, with savings from my small business, that I used to do, after my husband's death, is the achievement I'm proudest of.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Providing food for my family, is the biggest hardship I have faced, due to unreliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoons, when I am relaxing together with my family, after we have had lunch.
