What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have planned all my life that my first achievement is to get a purchase land of my own. The reasons are just simple. I move in this town since 2008,I started doing my mechanic work at the age of ten.I am a school dropped out because of financial constraints my parents were faced with ; I was forced to enter the mechanic shop inorder to help my Father. Years went by and today I am on my own hustling to build my family. I am a father of a girl child. I left my parents and started renting, but every thing I earned is been diverted to rent. So, I discussed with my girlfriend and we plan to purchase a land to enable us build our own house. With this; I know we will be able to save for ourselves and stopped given money to someone every month for rent. Renting is a serious financial challenge a delay of progress in one's life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the last six months I have been happy, I am always happy, seeing my child grow and affording her needs; get me happy, but one of the happiest day, is this news from Give Directly today.I also had a bad moment since last month. I lost my sister to the cold hands of death. She has since been buried, but every time I wake up and see her room door lock, I grieved in my soul. Not withstanding life has to go on , so today restore another day of joy in my life. My plans will be sure this year. I will be able to buy my land and be happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am challenge with finance. The work I do is a mechanic job, and this job doesn't really generate enough to pay rent, feed the family and save.In Liberia job is really difficult in getting, especially a good pay job.I have spend 15 years in this work;but most of these years I was learning. Since I got on my own, things are more difficult than I thought it was.I do the work ,but I am pay less. The money can't buy a land and then start a building project, but by the help of this money; I am certain that I will make a good start and in time to come there will be no more renting. I buy a land of my own.
