How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life and that of my family is incredibly different. Before my brother died we had used the first transfer to build a house, at least something to show for being a part of the program. And as already mentioned the second transfer helped us settle medical bills. If not for the program we would have been indebted to date
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does not need to improve on anything. If anything just keep up the good work of giving informative advice on spending and discouraging us from engaging in non environmental friendly businesses or actions. Your field officers were also very polite and welcoming
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
As I already mentioned that the actual recipient passed away before the second transfer, so we were in debt for trying to get our brother medical care in different private hospitals. As such, this transfer was used to pay back all of those debts incurred while he was still alive

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and I made sure that I followed instructions that we dont have to use the money for gambling, buying harmful equipments as instructed by GD officers earlier on

I now have a proper shelter because of GD money and i am so grateful for this, my life will change forever God bless GD donors so that they should do this to others who are in need
