What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying two cows at 32,300 KES, a sheep at 2,500 KES, used 5,000 KES on farming, used 4,500 KES to buy a bee hive, bought a sack of maize at 3,200 KES then used the rest on food for the house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have my milk cows that give me hope of getting income from the sale of milk and am also making some cash by hiring a cart that I had bought with transfers. Thanks to GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD does well by giving the cash to individuals to attend to their needs/projects as they deem right.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have reduced the burden of school fees and economically, I'm empowered because I earn daily income from donkey cart business.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to use part of the to buy a diary cow, then donkeys for business. And offset the children's school fees.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement is I was able to pay school fees for my wife upto college level. I also paid school fees for my brother's children who are orphans until they finished form four.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship av ever faced is I was laid off from work and now I don't have any source of livelihood. I depend on subsistence farming which doesn't even do well
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when am working on my farm land.
