Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
All adjectives that can simply describe this moment are of excitement and thanksgiving. I was thrilled and I was in disbelief, not very sure if all this money was given to me by GiveDirectly for free as a financial support. There is no better word that can describe this moment, special, awesome, exciting?? All these words, I believe!!!
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before receiving this transfer from GiveDirectly, I was very poor and needy. My poverty was of the highest order as I lacked almost all basic needs. I did not have a reliable and sustainable source of income as a household. Iam happy to report to you however that now Iam able to buy food for my family. I have managed to fight malnutrition in my family. Iam happier than before. Many thanks to GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received this transfer from GiveDirectly the first thing that I did was to go to town and buy iron sheets of which I did. I also bought bricks so that I build a proper house as my house is not in good condition as you can see it. Additionally, I also purchased 10 bags of maize for consumption.
