What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive this money from giving directly, I will use some of the money to start a business and use the balance to support my children in school which has been my plan for a long time. My husband and I are engage in farming activities for the past ten years now as means to sustain the family. The money we earn from the farm proceeds, build a house and support our children in school. In the house I build, I attached a shop to it to start a business but with the money, we earn from the cassava farm, can't sustain the family at the same open a shop.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what has brought me joy is that I'm living in my own house and more besides it's not a thatch structure because I can remember last year when I was living in a thatch structure with my family when the rain starts to fall, the entire room can be full of water, we wouldn't sleep till day. But I blessed God that I'm in a zinc structure with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing now is getting money to open a shop that I will earn enough money from to maintain the family. Even though my husband and I are engaged in farming activities for the past ten years now as means to sustain the family, the money we earn from the farm proceeds we build a house and support our children in. In the house I build, I attached a shop to it to start a business but the money we earn from the cassava farm, can't sustain the family at the same open a shop. I will appreciate any help from GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood.
