How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been engaging in some casual jobs offered within the village which pays some little income on a day to day basis. The jobs have been keeping me occupied and also helps me in getting some little cash of my own so I do not have to rely on my sister all the time for financial help.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I want to start a small scale business of keeping chicken birds and selling them out to my customers once they are mature and ready for sale. It is a business that requires a small amount of capital to start that is why I want to venture in it and possibly generate some profits, God willing. Once the profits start trickling in then I will have the opportunity to pay my college fees and advance my education.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference for me I would say is that it enabled me to offset my school fee balances that were pending at that time. I had some huge arrears amounting to close to fifteen thousand shillings. The reason I had that huge amount of pending balance is that my eldest sister who is our breadwinner had just spent a good amount of her money in taking care of hospital bills for my father.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am planning to dive into the field of agriculture where I want to do tomato planting business. This business also does not require a huge amount of capital to start, that is why I believe I will excel in it. The profits generated from this business added with the profits I will be generating from the birds business should just be enough to see me through my next stage of education.
