Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to lease an extra piece of land. I intend to plant maize this coming season. I chose to venture into this business because I knew quite a number of people who would guide me into doing it successfully. Maize also does well in this region, therefore, there were high chances of succeeding.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life in the last four months ever is that I am always happy and at peace. Through the transfer I got from GiveDirecty, I was able to boost my poultry and dairy projects. As a result, I have started getting more income from the sale of milk as well as from the poultry project. This has made it possible to comfortably provide for my family. The peace of mind that has come as a result of this is immeasurable. I really thank this organization for coming up with this unique idea of giving out unconditional cash transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months. I plan to invest my savings and increase my income to a point where I can start actualizing my longterm goals. My biggest worry at the moment is to easily pay school fees for my children. My kids are very bright and I would never want to fail them in any way. I thank God I was among the beneficiaries because I have means of starting other income-generating activities and achieve most of these goals.
