How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done extremely well by giving us cash to improve our lives. Before GiveDirectly came in my community, I couldn't afford to buy even a bundle of zinc. However, I will be able to build before the end of GiveDirectly program in my community.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my recent transfer to purchase two bundles of zinc because I goal set is to build a house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan was to build a house because we can't continue living in another person's house forever. Because of lack of finance, we could not achieve that plan. When i receive this transfer i will build a house as this had been my plan. I will use portion of the money, to buy a motor bike since my spouse is a motorcyclist. The proceeds from the motor bike will help us to establish a little business. I am very happy that Give Directly have come to help me achieve my plans.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months we experience joy and sorrow. What brought happiness to me is my sister give birth to a bouncing baby girl in good health. What brought sorrow my to me is my uncle lost his young wife last month. So the last six months were mix feelings for us. Joy and sorrow.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges am facing presently is finances. My spouse is a motorcyclist but we don't have money to buy our own motor bike. He rides for other people and at times the motor bike owner will take the bike from him. When that happens, things can be very difficult for us because that is the only means of survival we have. We don't even have a house on our own and we can't afford to rent. Currently, someone felt sorry for us and give us one room in his house. The fact that we are living in someone's house is a serious embarrassment for me and my spouse.
