How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My main goal is to build another house for my family because I have realized that my family is growing in numbers and my present house is no longer comfortable for us. I have six children even though some of them are not currently living with me because of some conditions but I know some day they will come back to visit me, that is why I really need a house that can accommodate all of them when they come back.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by allowing us to make our own decisions when it comes to what we want to do with the money, they are also kind in their approaches especially during the time of interview. I don't have anything bad to say about GiveDirectly because they are good to us but sometimes I feel uncomfortable because GiveDirectly don't take any help from us even though they are the ones helping us more.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to buy most of the building materials I need for my house project because it has always been my dream to have a bigger house of my own. I also bought food for my family so that we can have enough to eat.
