What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to pay school fees for my child who is in high school. I spent some amount to buy sofa set because I did not have decent seats and the remaining amount, I spent to buy food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have managed to pay school fees for my child and he would have dropped out of school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us money, which has brought alot of developments in our community. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay school fees for my child in secondary school to enable him successfully attend his classes. I then spent the remaining amount to buy seats to put in my sitting room to enable everyone get a place to sit during meal times.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have been able to pay school fees for my son and therefore I am not worried about him being sent back home constantly for school fees.

From my first transfer, I spent 5,500 KES to pay school fees for my children, bought cushion at 3,500 KES and the remaining 800 KES I spent to buy food for my family.

Am planning to spend my second transfer to renovate my house and to pay school fees.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use my transfer on farming, I will buy two bulls and a ploughing machine to ease my work as a farmer. I also plan to use the transfer on school fee and plaster my floor to save time and cost of frequent smearing.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I used to live in a very small house but now I am in a big house that I built through hard work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in life is that my income isn't sufficient to educate my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am through with my day's tasks and happy that God has protected my family.
