Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Having seen the great progress in livestock farming, we have redirected our concentration fully into that project. We are currently growing fodder and in the next four months wee have a new goal to add another cow into the herd.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Our soil being clay, it has really been hard for us to be consistent in production of food crops. Rainy seasons always mess with the crops since every part of our farms has been flooding. It has been our dream and hope that one day we will put most part of our land under livestock farming since grass and other cow feeds are not affected by the rains. After receiving the transfers, we saw it as an opportunity for us to venture into livestock farming by at least buying two cows. This to us has been the biggest difference in my daily life. We have been selling milk of late which has really been sorting most of the household bills and also part of the school fees for our children. We are really grateful for the boost we got from the organization and we are praying that they may visit other regions too.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
With the current trend in our milk production, we have been saving a lot since we are no longer buying milk. We have great expectations that soon in the next six months we will be having four milk producing cows in our farm.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The aftermath of my separation with my husband was a tough experience for me in the sense that I had to start from scratch. I had nothing of my own and things went from bad to worse resulting in me moving back home(to my parents) at least for sometimes. My kids suffered as they had to drop out of school since I was unable to pay for their school fees and at the same time denied fatherhood love. This for me is the biggest hardship I have ever experienced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am back from my maize business and carrying with me foodstuffs for my family to take for supper.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on buying a small parcel of land for myself.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
After being separated from my husband, I started a small business of buying and selling of maize from farmers to consumers. This particular business enabled me fend for my three kids hence they never lacked any basic need without relying on anyone for help. For me this is the greatest achievement I am proudest of.
