Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to ensure that we pool our resources and be able to clear school fees in time once the schools reopen.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life that has happened in the last four months is the fact that we have been able to participate in a merry go round as a family that has seen us improve our house and bring it to almost completion. Without GiveDirectly's transfers we do not think we would have been able to accomplish this yet.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
We expect our lives to change in that we shall have been more established financially as a family. GiveDirectly's transfers has enabled me to concentrate on improving my shoe selling business since it has been able to help me meet the daily needs without necessarily having to eat into my profits. I therefore expect that in the next six months I will be getting more profits from the said business.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life has currently changed because of the good improvements I am making on my home compound. I have acquired all the materials that I needed and renovations works have already begun on the house we live in. Previously, the grass thatched, mud-walled house was just a nuisance in my compound. When I complete the renovation. I will have my family staying in the house of my dreams. This will make me a proud father. Additionally, my family is well dressed because I have been using the last four transfers to buy them clothes. My children have a good learning experience as a smooth stay in school too due to proper fee payment. I have been using apart of the transfers to do away with their school fees problems. This has really changed their attitude and self-esteem is high. I know they are gaining more at school than previously.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I don't have a new goal over the next four months other than to change the house we live in into a nice looking cleaner timber walled structure. I will also make a concrete floor within the coming four months. This is my main focus because I have the ability to change my compound to very good. My children will be very proud of their home!
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the home improvement that is in progress I am rebuilding my house. I have been using the last four transfers to buy timber and other building materials for renovating the house. I am now ready to erect a timber wall for the house. This is a good improvement because it will reduce the time consumed on the maintenance of the mud wall by smearing very often. The house will also look nice and that has been my dream for the family to enjoy living in descent and likable home.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My house will be improved because It will be timber walled and the floor will be made of concrete. The expected difference is the fact that my family will be living in such a nice compound and house that I always wanted for them. I also expect to have a fully furnished house with a 7 seater sofa sets. I will be using the GivedIrectly transfers to make all these improvements.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Before we use to live in a one bedroom house which would accommodate all my family members. When got money from GD, I save for a few months and put together with what my wife receives as she is also a recipient and built a two-room house. I am happy now having a spacious house where my children can spend a night in a separate room.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Since am a businessman, I would like to expand my business by opening a new shop where I would be selling shoes on a daily basis. Currently, I move from one market to the other on an open day market but do not have a permanent place where I operate my business from.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Recently, I moved my children from public primary school to a private school where I expect them to get quality education since in public school they wouldn't perform so well as children would overcrowd in a classroom. Before I wouldn't manage to take them to a good school but since GD came and gave us money I can manage to pay for their school fees. Having my children in a good school is the greatest difference which I didn't expect to happen anytime soon.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would expect to have started a new shop where I would be running my business fulltime. I will also continue attending an open market on market day to sell second-hand shoes and from this, I expect to earn more profit which would help me to change our living standard.
