What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second transfer on completion of the house I had started constructing but I ran out of cash to complete it. The house is now fully done, and we have already relocated to it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well in giving aid to everyone who deserves it and not to a specific group of people. On the other hands there is nothing GiveDirectly is not doing well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I never received the money, by now I would not have completed my house and probably I would be staying in it in the state it was before. I feel so proud I have made a step in life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my money from Give Directly, I plastered the whole of my main house with sand and cement. I am a low income earner and getting money to plaster the house was a very great challenge to me-it explained why I couldn't walk out of a dusty house-I couldn't afford! but thanks to Give Directly for the liberation, currently, I live in a safer house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from Give Directly, I smiled but humbled myself. This is because, I never wanted workmates to know that I had received it-they could easily steal it from me.
