How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from before because I no longer struggle to find school fees for my children and daily spending. We have enough supply of milk from our 4 cows since I ensured enough supply of feeds. I used to graze the cows along the road which yielded in low productivity. I can now say that I'm relaxed and happier.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My wife and I are expecting to take our 4 children to a better private school since we expecting an increase in income from our cows. We are hoping that they will not drop out of school because it's more expensive than a public schools. But thanks to GD that we are able to expand our businesses with better profits than befoer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I've more cows on my farm more than before. My end goal is to have a ranch. I'm also expecting an increase in milk production in the next few months and hence an increase in profits that will sustain my family in meeting daily expenditures.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change for the better since I'm expecting the two cows I bought to have given birth in 6 months time. This means that there will be enough milk to sell hence more profits to sustain our daily spendings and plow back into my business. This will also tranaslate to quality of life for my family.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is the fact that I now own more cattle than before. We used have 7 cows and now we have 9 because we used Give Directly transfers to add the 2. So milk production has increased and resulted in more income for us. We really wish Give Directly well and hopefully we will continue receiving more funds and continue advancing economically.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have a better life in the six months, my economic status to go higher.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different because of increased source of income. We now sell 15 litres of milk each day. Previously we used to sell 10 - each litre at 35 KES. We make 175 KES more each day courtesy of Give Directly.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
Not so much so, the goal that I currently have is not that new: to increase my livestock because it is a good source of income in our region due to poor farm produce. We prefer livestock work because it is easier than farming and one is assured of an income unlike farming that we have been losing crops to pests and disease breakouts that has plagued our region for years. We have wasted energy, time and resources in the farm for long, so livestock is a good source of income. That is why I plan to have more.
