How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After receiving the money from GiveDirectly, I was able to build a big and a decent house that I couldn't have managed to build if I hadn't received this money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
It does well by giving cash transfers to help us to buy our necessities and there is nothing that it doesn't do well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most of the transfer was spent to build my house because the house that I was previously staying in was grass thatched house and it had an opening on one side.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was super excited when i got the transfer message, i almost didn't believe it with my two eyes and I remember i couldn't stop smiling and until now I'm a hapoy person and speechless with what this organisation has done in this village.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference will be having a good living environment that will make me live comfortably aswell as ahouse and adequate food for the whole year
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I'm so grateful for getting enrolled in the programme, to be honest i don't have a house so being given this kind of opportunity gave me the energy to really get what i have been wanting, apparently i would love to build a house so i have bought bricks ,ironsheet and cement. I was sleeping on a matt(nkeka) for quite a long time and i thought of buying Matress for I and the kids,i have also bought food, and thats maize to be precise and i have saved some money for basic expanses.
