How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm thinking of competing for my house and focusing on a business that will help me and my family. I also bought my zinc bundle of zinc and other building materials. I'm also thinking of paying my children's tuition. I have been living in an old house with my family. my children are been out because of the low income that I'm getting from the farming job.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly is doing a great job for us the people of Liberia. I have been struggling to build my children's tuition. However, the people of my village life has changed greatly now because of this transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
A huge of my transfer was spent on my house. some were also used for my children. I also thinking of starting a business that will help me after this program. I'm planning to complete my house project with this my second transfer. I just bought zinc and cement to finish with my house. I even spent little amount on planks and stick. I bought some provision for the house. The last little one that left with me, i paid my son graduation fee. I'm planning now for the next transfer so that i can start a small business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is really doing great things for us in Rivercesse county. More especially we yhe poor people of Liberia. One thing that i love about givedirectly program they are very transparent in their job.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I needed money to build my house and also renovate my kitchen by creating additional space to serve as storage. All along, I didn't have enough money to undertake this project. Hence, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I was able to fully do the renovation. Moreover, I started building my house and I'm very hopeful that it will be completed soon. I am so pleased with this program because my dreams wouldn't have come close to reality if it weren't for GiveDirectly's financial assistance.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly's services to humanity is incomparable. They have made great impact in my life and the lives of community dwellers as well. Surprisingly, all this has happened within a very short period of time. I am so pleased and I appreciate GD for all they do. I also see nothing that GiveDirectly is not doing quite well. May God continue to increase this organization as they continue to transform the lives of poor people like us.

I used a large portion of my transfer to purchase three (3) bundles of zinc that cost $10,400 per bundle. The remaining portion of my transfer was used to pay workers who helped renovate my kitchen by creating additional space that is currently serving as storage. I'm also very optimistic that within the next couples of month, my house will be completed. GiveDirectly has been a huge blessing to me and they have transformed my life for good.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My major goal right now is to build a house and move in with my entire family. As you can see my house is very old and it's already falling apart. I did not have any money to undertake my house project and I grieved everytime I see my family living in such an old and depleted house that has become very risky for survival. However, while I was on my way to the farm early that faithful morning, I received my transfer from GiveDirectly. Tears of joy started rolling down my cheek. I knew that my goal of building a house would come to fruition with GD's transfer. I am so pleased that my family and I will have a new, comfortable and secure house as our new home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I did not have enough finances to achieve my goal of building a house for my family's well-being and security. Suddenly, everything has changed with GD's transfer. Being able to build a spacious, comfortable and secure house for my family has been the biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly. What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan for the money is to build a new house, i have had the plan for sometime now but haven't had the cash to execute.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happy because iam not paying money from one hospital to the other because of any illment in the family, my family is healthy and strong.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenges has to do with the inability to pay labourers for my farm, eventhough i work very hard iam still not able to plant and harvest enough for my family to feed and take care of their daily needs.
