What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my first lumpsum transfer, I built a semi-permanent house of 25 iron sheets with the whole of it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was initially living under a leaking roof that could make us catch cold and malaria, but I am now living in a warmer house and a more healthier house, the biggest difference in my daily life.

I paid 4,000KES for debt and spent 4,000KES on buying 2 goats for keeping, and spent 2,000KES on groceries.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
My roof is leaking, I therefore plan to buy ironsheet, timber and nails and build an iron roofed house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to start a business, I will sell items that are generally needed in the village like cooking oil, salt, maize flour, sugar and other fast moving consumer goods.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked as a grocer and after saving for many years, I was able to buy household goods and build my mother in law a house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face currently is that I lost my husband a long time ago and I had to stop working in order to come to the village and and stay with my mother in law, this means that I do not have any source of income and life is difficult.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday when I spend time with my mother in law, we usually talk alot, it makes me very happy that I have a good relationship with her.
