Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy and grateful for the program..The money was like a saviour to some of the problems that we been facing such as having a house of our own.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that in the house,,we now have food enough for everyone..We have better beddings that can beat cold weather..In the past,,to have food for the whole family was a problem but today it is a story of the past.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The cash was used to purchase iron sheets which he intends to use when h will be building a new house.. He also purchased food and blankets for his entire household...The remaining money was used for moulding bricks for the house that he will build in the coming months.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We are so excited with the fund, our dreams and long preparedness is now slowly coming to manifest it's worth. I will now own a good house covered with iron sheet on the roof. I can not even wait to sleep comfortably on my matress which I am hoping to be available in no time.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Every time because I have a family which I love most
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is that I have been struggling to consistently provide my family with food through out the year, we struggle very much in February and March
