Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
This financial support has enabled me to start a business of selling produce. I am now self reliant, something that has given me a peace of mind, I can now feed well and afford decent clothes. Previously, I depended on casual labour which was not well paying making it hard for me to support my family. Secondly, I plan to acquire a plot of land after getting my second transfer, where I will stay peacefully with my daughter.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was overwhelmed with joy the moment I received my money because I had never got such an amount of money in my life. I was also happy because I had got money to start up a business that would help me support my family.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 500,000 of my first transfer to start a business of selling produce(rice). I have not spent UGX 1,200,000 but I intend to spend it together with the second transfer to purchase a plot of land.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means an opportunity to have land to put up my own home. This because I don't have what I really call my own home ever since my spouse passed away. This place I am staying is out of the owner's kindness to let me be instead of wandering around looking for a place to stay.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning on Sunday as I attend prayers in church. That's the only moment my soul acquires semblance of happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship faced in my life is having no where to settle myself and daughter as home, and finding enough money to educate my daughter. Currently, she didn't seat for her O'level exams because I failed to find money to pay school fees.
