How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because through these cash transfers, I'm now earning profits from my commercial house which is enabling me buy more building materials for the other commercial. In addition, there is enough lighting in my compound at night and I can charge my phone freely as opposed to before when I was charged 500 shillings per day for changing my phone and I never had money for completing my commercial house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by helping me complete to build my rental houses in time which I never thought I would have finished this year. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought building materials (8 doors, 4 windows, sand and 20 bags of cement), bought solar and bought food.
