What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part this money to pay school fees for my five children. Two of them are in form one, one in class seven, another in class six and the last in class three. Secondly, I intend to use another part to buy water pipes to enable me to irrigate my farm. Lastly, I intend to use the remaining amount to start a small business of selling fish.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of is that when my husband passed away, I was living in a grass-thatched house, and my first born was in class five. Now, now I am living in a metal-roofed house and I have managed to take two children to secondary school through the small farming that I am doing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is getting money to pay fees for my two children in secondary school since what I am getting from the small scale farming is not sufficient to cater for our daily basic needs and the school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when we are having supper together with my children when each of them tells me what happened to them during the day.
