How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Poverty was the biggest challenge in my life. I had no clothes, food or proper house. I have two dresses that I got from a donation at the mosque. I mostly put them interchangeable but I never knew GD had other plans. The transfer has made me to buy extra clothes for myself and the family. With the transfer, I was able to bath with a bathing soap unlikely in the previous years were I mostly use ashes to bath. I would like to thank the person who gave me the cash gift, God will surely bless him/her.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
