GiveDirectly does well in helping the poor. Money does everything now a days. It is a great help for us. GiveDirectly does well in everything.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I intend to build a stronger and long lasting house with GiveDirectly cash transfer because the house I'm currently constructing is only temporary.
Also, I wish to see my children continuing school since they're not out of High School yet.
So, I'll save the rest of the money to sponsor their education and to have a business established."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I had been having problems with my eyes for a period of time but fortunately for me it was removed for me by the government hospital for free in June of this year!
For me this was a huge burden because my eyes were constantly leaking waterinf and I really struggling to see.
Therefore, this incident has been my most joyous moments in the past six months since it saved me for a huve expensive!"
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"I'm being challenged with food the most!
Though I am a farmer I don't earn much from the crops because the Guinea Pigs destroys the rice and there's hardly enough food for us to eat.
Money is another issue in that, there's always unattended needs at home.
I always don't have enough money to do the things I would love to do for myself and my family."
