Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Prior to receiving this transfer, I didn't have any ready money to pay children's fees, I was going to borrow money that I was to paid when I harvest my sweet potatoes. Having received this money, I was able to pay my children's fees that has saved me from getting debts. Further more, I was in position to plaster and cement the floor of my house that has made me very happy because the house is now clean. Previously, my house was dusty and its wall was not plastered which could hide snakes because it was made of mud.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy and immediately I started planning on how to spend but I wasn't in the a hurry to withdraw it.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase 20 bags of cement, 2 mattresses, a bed, 2 pairs of bed sheets, utensils and paid school fees for my children. I have not yet spent UGX 380,000 but I am planning to spend it for paying construction workers and buying foodstuffs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will purchase cement and sand to plaster my house. My house is built with sand and whenever it rains, the winds splash water on the wall which loosens the joints and I fear that it may collapse one day.Besides that, part of the money I will use to educate my children. My idea is that, if I educate my children, they will be able to get better employment opportunities in future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is evening. It is part the day when everyone is back from work. We tend to chat together as a family at this time of the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of adequate land for cultivation. We have few gardens which cannot produce enough food for home consumption and for sale.
