What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have lent 1,100,000Ugx in exchange of two acres of land that have currently planted maize, beans and cassava, and the remaining transfer I spent on buying 10 iron sheets at 200,000Ugx, matress and clothings at 210,000Ugx and food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well to give me money direct, and Give Directly has not done any thing bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have been in position to cultivate more crops in larger quantity with the arces I got, and I have also got iron sheets that I wouldn't have been able to buy if I had not received this transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to build a house,and to buy a cow,a bed and a mattress,I also married a wife.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received my money I felt so happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life now is that I have a wife,previously I was so money but now I have a wife and life is good. I sleep comfortably on a bed and mattress, unlike before when I used to sleep on a hard mat on the floor uncomfortably.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is sickness. Way back, I took poison and was bedridden. I almost died but because of the treatment I got, I am alive though it still disturbs me once in a while.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i am playing with other youths at the centre.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means help for example building a house, marrying a woman, and hiring atleast a piece of land to farm in.
