I am happy I was thinking about where am I going to take money to help my children and build a house but through givedirectly, I can build a house and pay my children's tuition which makes me very happy. Givedirectly has not done any wrong to me, I thank God for them.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! I don't have any new goals, my main focus is on increasing my rice and cocoa farm for a bigger harvest and to complete my house project.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly cash has help alot of us the poor people, what I like mostly is the accuracy and accountability. Givedirectly has put smiles on the faces of many including me and my family. Saying thanks wouldn't be enough to tell how grateful I am to be a direct beneficiary of this program. No fault since I started receiving my transfers and they have not done anything to stain their character.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
This transfer was divided into three equal parts, the first part goes to the building project, I bought one bundle of zinc and two packs of zinc nails. The second part goes to my agricultural sector, my cocoa and rice farm, and the third part goes to my kids for provisions and upkeep because they're schooling in konowroken.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my sick bed when my trustee brought information that GiveDirectly sent my money. I forgot my sickness and jumped from the bed with happiness. I wished i could dance but i did in my heart. GiveDirectly has blessed me so much and i am happy. I was very happy when I saw the massage and I strated calling everyone to tell them about my money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before I received this money from GiveDirectly, I used to plant cassava and fix 'garee or farrina' to sell before I can get food for my family to eat. But by the help of GiveDirectly, things are going well with my family. I'm about to build my new house and send my children to school. This brings me happiness everyday and keeps smile on my face.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have decided to build myself a house and also send my children to school. One major help this money will do for me is to settle my health issue. I will use part of my money to get treated because I need to get beter. I also want to buy fertiliser for my cocoa farm.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive my Cash transfer, I would like to use the money to build a better house for my children and I. The house that I am currently living in is a thatch roof house and during the rainy seasons, my children and I have to change our bed position and sometimes, we can be forced to leave the house because the entire roof has leakage All
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have been happy since the beginning of this year and upon to now,, because my children and I are healthy and we are able to hustle to get our daily bread and that makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am really finding it hard to get money and food for my children and I. As a widow, I usually have to do a daily hired Job inorder to get money from food and other things that we need to survive, so my main challenge is lack of money and food. Some days, my children and I go without a meal.
