How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have been in position to start up a business of selling produce(maize and millet) which I couldn't have started, had I not recieved this transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well to give me cash that has greatly improved my standard of living, and Give Directly has not done any thing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for stocking maize and Millet at 690,000 which am planning to sell when their prices increase, I also bought clothing, household Items, food and I saved 230,000 for future use.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that, my standard of living has improved since I have acquired what I lacked and above all, I have owned two animals which I had never Imagined that I would own.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When i received my first transfer, I felt the inner most Joy within me and thanked Give directly for the kind support to poor people like me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I was able to purchase two cows at 1,200,000ugx to act as a saving for future needs and to provide diet to the household in form of milk. I also bought a bed worth 80,000ugx, a case costing 70,000ugx aimed at improving hygiene and sanitation at home. I then renovated my grass thatched house, bought cement at 63,000ugx including laour, I repaired my door with 10,000ugx. I purchased Utensils and a drying rack which costed me 58,000ugx. The balance of 218,000ugx, I am planning to use for purchasing a mattress and bedsheets.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am faced with is having to bear the pain of labour and yet the child is no more. I gave birth to a child which died instantly.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when I am listening to music.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a cow that can give me milk, buy household items.
