What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on my medication since I was very sick with many complications. I also stocked food for myself and bought some goats for rearing at home.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that my health has greatly improved due to better medication. I would have died if I had not received the transfer since my health was deteriorating steadily.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to give transfers directly and transparently to recipients without any charges. All GD operations were perfect.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on roofing my house and cementing it because it had a temporary roof that could go off in case of heavy rain.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to access what to eat on a daily basis and also facilitate my medical expenses since my health is weak due to old age is the biggest difference in my daily life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Yes, iron sheets, mattress, food and medication! I used my fitst transfer to buy iron sheets because the iron sheets on my house are very old and leaking everywhere.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home sleeping at night and my helper came to inform me that i had received money from GiveDirectly, I was so happy.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the cash transfer on renovating and expanding my house where i stay with my grandchildren.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I did have chicken that i used to rear and they could provide for me eggs for home consumption and some could hatch to chicks, that could grow and i sell them to increase on my household income.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i do have upto now is loosing my hearing sense, that makes it hard for me to even communicate to my visitors.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during afternoon hours when am having lunch with my grandchildren.
