How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The greatest difference in my life is that I have two more cows in my stock which are about to calf down in a few months. I believe that they will provide me with milk for use and for sale. I will earn money through the sale of milk and will use it for buying food and settling family bills. If not GD, Iwould not have been able to buy a cow since I had sold which I hadto pay school fees for my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has brought change in our village as the shared the transfer amongst the members irrespective of their status which to me is a good thing. I belief that what GD is doing is good and should continue to support more eople.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
The second transfer which I got from GD, I spent to buy a dairy cow at KES 38000 and sent KES 10000 for my son in school for accommodation. The rest we spent to buy food.
