How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I own dairy cows . Therefore , we have enough milk for our family which I sell the surplus milk at the center to meet additional needs for the family. Today, I am healthier since I have the peace of mind unlike before when I used to be thin because of inadequate meals and stress on ways to meet my family's needs since it was a struggle . We are so grateful because GiveDirectly has changed our standard of living.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion , GiveDirectly did well through conducting door to door visits and the enrollment questions were well structure and understandable to the vulnerable group such as the old. I do not see what GiveDirectly did wrong on it's work .
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my largest part of my second transfer to sofa set seats. I also bought four goats , I am assured of achieving a lot from them within a short period of time. First, they take a shorter time to mature and they reproduce mostly twice a year when the offsprings multiply and mature, they will give me the ability sell some to cater for unexpected emergencies . The remaining amount I bought food for my family's consumption .

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money to me means a better housing for my family. During rainy seasons my current grass thatched houses leaks making it uncormfotable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is during the evening when all of us share a meal together after a long day of various activities.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of enough food for most part of the year leading to hunger and psychological torture. Last planting season my farm which is my sole income source was infested by pests which led to little harvest.
