What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 12,000KES of the third transfer on buying 4 sheep for selling, bought bags of cement and cemented the floor and walls of my house. I also constructed the verandah and paid 10,000KES school fees for my children.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My goal is to increase stock for my fish selling business so that I may increase my profit.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different I can now keep my floor clean because its cemented, and I also keep sheep.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my first lumpsum transfer, I plastered my 3 room house with sand and cement at a total cost of 42400 KES, I cleared my hospital bills with 2000 KES and I spent the remaining 5600 KES on 2 sacks of maize.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
GD has untangled me from the vicious cycle of debts. I can now walk freely in the village without any fear since I am not entitled to anyone's money, which is the biggest difference in my daily life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to spend the first half of my transfer to hire a tractor that will plough my farm because I am planning to start growing sugarcane in large scale.I would like to spend the remaining half on school fees and food.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I would say I am proudest of was switching from a grass thatched house that used to leak whenever it rains to a better iron roofed house that is leak proof.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is how to raise and feed nine children single handedly because the income I get from my daily job is very little and the responsibilities are many.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm happiest in the morning when taking a cup of tea together with my children before they go to school.
