How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I will have oxen bulls that will ease my gardening work during rainy season and am happy it made me afford to take children to school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to build houses, buy livestock, land, taxi motorcycle, and household items; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I haven't spent my second transfer yet, but I intend to buy livestock with it.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference so far I have noticed is that my life is relaxed because with the cash transfer I cleared all my outstanding debts.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
That moment when I received the transfer I was very happy and over excited because I had many debts that were strangling me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay off a school fees debt worth 500,000ugx. I also spent 200,000ugx to pay all my cash loans and debts. I am planning to buy an ox with the balance of the cash transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy oxen. My family will utilise the oxen for ploughing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is afternoon especially after lunch.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for paying school fees. My children are studying in st.Tereza but how to raise their fees is very difficult.
