Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am currently constructing an iron roofed house which makes me happy. To me it is a big difference because soon I will move out of the leaky hut. As an old woman it has not been easy for me to look for grass thatch and keep renovating the hut.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I heard the message notification, I woke up to give my son to check if it was the transfer. When he told me money was in the phone, I felt happy and it was filled with laughter. It was 3:00 am but I could not sleep again because of the excitement. I had to sit up and shell groundnuts just to make my self busy until morning.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying materials (bricks, cement , sand, murrum) for building a house and the work is already in progress. Additionally I bought utensils, water drum, crop sprayer and shoes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to complete the construction of my house. I started to build six years back but lacked money to carry on with the work. I also hope to buy oxen that will support in cultivation and a cow that will provide milk for my family. I believe life will change to the positive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with friends. I feel relaxed.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money. I have never been in position to buy oxen because there is no money. Farming is a very hard task in my household and yet it is what I depend on. There is no support.
