From my second transfer, I spent 24,000 KES to buy a sofaset, spent 7,000 KES to repay a loan I took from my self help group, and the remaining 17,000 KES, I spent to buy a cow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is different in that, I now use solar in lighting my house, I have a cow which I will soon start milking and also have sofasets like other women in the village

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on buying furniture for my house, I will spend part of the transfer on paying school fees for my children who are in primary school and the remaining transfer I will spend on starting a business of selling second hand clothes at our local market.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that I was able to buy two sheep using cash that I got when I was working at certain factory as a casual labourer.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that being a widow, my income is very low and this at times forces us to got to bed hungry as food prices are very high for me to afford on a daily basis.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go out in the morning to do casual work like ploughing other people's farms and I get paid in the evening. This makes me happy as I am able to support my family.
