Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that we are now comfortable in our new house. we no longer cook and sleep in the same room as we used to before. we are also able to afford a decent meal since we have enough food in the store. My kids can concentrate on school work more than before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
That moment I received this transfer I was very happy. I finally knew that y dream of having a new house had come. my kids have always wondered why we sleep in the same house with them hence no privacy. That day I rushed to the market to buy the materials because I was so anxious.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer on building a house; I bought an iron sheet and timber and we spent the rest of the money on food. My family and I used to share a very small house for cooking and sleeping. So I had a vision of building a new house for my kids so that they can have their own privacy.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
It has been a real struggle to raise children with limited resources. Receiving this money therefore means am being enabled to provide basic necessities to my children with much ease. Currently, I am planning to open up a shop business within the village. This way, I will earn adequate income mainly because there is no single shop around and people are in most cases forced to walk kilometers away to buy household commodities. I will capitalize on the current situation around and improve my family's livelihood. I'd love my children to be proud of me someday.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning. It is always a nice feeling to wake up feeling energized after a long night rest. It is at this moment also, that I love engaging in farm work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of stable source of income has been the biggest hardship in my life. As a result, I've been unable to provide adequate necessities such as good health, food, School fees, decent clothing, shelter and medication to my children. My husband used to engage in charcoal business, but since the government banned its operation, he has been jobless. We solemnly depended on him for everything, and our kids have continued to suffer irreparable loss of healthy growth and educational development, thankful to GD for coming to our aid.
