What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a plot of land at 1,000,000 UGX and I spent yhe balance of 500,000 UGX to start a fish business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am so happy that Givedirectly sent me the cash transfers that have transformed my life and saved me from the pits of sorrow. Givedirectly has enabled me acquire and own my land. However in my opinion Givedirectly has done the best for me , there is no bad deed I can point out.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now vibrant and I am very healthy compared to before I received the cash transfer. I used to feed poorly and I would even spend a day without food but ever since I received the transfers my life has changed tremendously. I eat nice food and I am very happy.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer I spent 400,000 UGX to buy beddings,and clothings, and shoes for my children, and kitchen utensils.Then I also bought one cow at 400,000 UGX, and I used part of it to buy food for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received a mobile money message showing the money ,I even failed to sleep that night because I was overwhelmed with happiness and full of joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life is now better and beautiful. I eat good food and I dress in neat clothes, yet in the past I was miserable and rarely had a good meal in a day.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is lack of money to set up a bussiness.There is an opportunity for agricultural products bussiness in my village but i do not have money to start it up because every little money that i try to save ends up in paying medical bills and buying food for the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the afternoon after my family has had lunch. Seeing my children satisfied, happy and playing even makes it better.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means starting up an agricultural products bussiness as an income generating activity for my household.
