Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very excited when I received my transfer. This meant a lot to me. My family is grateful for this blessing.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There's a big difference. I will have a house i have been desiring in the past. It could take me ages to have a house. I also have managed to buy food for my family. I don't take this for granted.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My house is not good. I have been sick for so long such that I failed to build a nice house for myself. I am planning to demolish this house so that I can build a new house. My house has been full of hungry bellies and I have bought some bags of maize for food processing.
I have also bought kitchen utensils such as spoons, plates and pots. I also intend to buy beddings such as blankets and mattresses with the remaining amount of money.
