What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I dug and built a 16-foot latrine since I never had one. I could always feel ashamed especially when visited with friends. Any time they would ask for a place for a long call, I would point the nearby bush.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received my money when I went to ask for after-work pay from a friend I hard worked for. I cultivated her farm and when It reached the time of payment, she was taking us around circles. This raised a very strong argument and before we could start fighting one another, I had a message notification and when I checked, it was my first transfer from Give Directly. I buried the hatchet and ran back home since my problem was solved.
