How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference is that i would not have been able to comfortably finish building my house and buy sufficient food for my house

I don't think there is anything that is not being done well. I was impressed with how GiveDirectly selected beneficiaries into this program by visiting each and every household because it gave chance to people like me who are not usually considered

I have managed to build a house with the money I received from give directly.
I started foundation to this building in 2010 but I was unable to finish due to luck of funds. With the second transfer I bought 10 bags of maize.
I also bought doors to the house I am building with their frames, I also bought cement to plaster the floor with concrete, and glass windows for finishing

I was over the moon because I had never been a recipiet of any donation.

Now i dont have to worry about food because i habe bought food to last me the rest of the year

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a huge relief as I have always lacked money for fertilizers which has always affected my maize production resulting in my household being constantly hit by hunger.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I love being at the lake with children
