What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy additional furniture since my house was now big and yet I had no furniture. I bought a high density mattress because the one I had was old, I bought a cow which will reproduce and I can always sell when in financial need and the remaining amount, I spent to buy to buy sound system.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have a big and more spacious house as compared to the one I was living in and also I have household goods which I never thought I could buy and this makes me proud. I would not have achieved all this without the transfers, thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD uplifted the living standards of the community members who were less privileged through the transfers. GiveDirectly should consider increasing the amount of transfers sent to recipients to enable them reach their goals.

I spent my entire second transfer on building a nice spacious house since the previous one was small.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I live in a nice spacious house and whenever I have visitor they fit well unlike before where some of them could seat outside the house because it was small.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I never had a comfortable place to lay my back and therefore when I received my first transfer, I acquired a high density mattress and a blanket. I invested the remaining amount in grocery, selling kales, onions and tomatoes. I am happy that the business has been supportive to us since we ventured into it. We have been able to feed well.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
My house is pathetic, dusty and weak. This can fall on us any time and therefore I expect my second transfer to help me save the situation- I will plaster the house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to build a bigger semi-permanent house, because this one is small. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to buy ten sheep as an investment for our family. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to pay school levies for our three children in primary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is, having bought a mattress using savings from my small business, because we used to sleep on a mat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced is, inadequate income to fence our home for security, because this has resulted in several cases of my house being broken into.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I'm selling vegetables to customers in the market.
