What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying building materials and constructing a new house. My old house had rusty and leaking iron sheets. The remaining I spent on ploughing my two acre piece of land. I am glad I now have enough to eat.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on building a decent spacious three roomed house and now I feel comfortable while I am hosting my visitors since Its easier to operate in this new house unlike before the transfer I was staying in a small one roomed house.I paid school fees for my grandchild who is in primary school. I also bought two bags of maize to feed on.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a decent spacious three roomed house and now I feel comfortable while I am hosting my visitors unlike before the transfer when I was staying in a small one roomed house.I am soo thankful to GiveDirectly for uplifting my living standards.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I never had some basic items in my house including bedding. I bought a mattress, a bed and 2 thick blankets to enable me sleep more comfortably and sleep warmly the entire night. We spent the remaining 2000 KES on food since we never had food to eat.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
My house is pathetic and therefore when I will receive this my upcoming second transfer, I will use the whole of it for building a semi-permanent house of 27 iron sheets.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to spend our transfer to buy some livestock and also to pay school fees for our orphaned grandchildren.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is the support I am giving to my orphaned grandchildren.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of money to finish up the construction of our house. Part of the roof is still incomplete.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I am resting with my husband at home after we've finished working in the shamba.
