What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on swearing my mud house that I had built with the second transfer and now its nicely aligned.I bought sofa set seat 20,000 KES. I used the remaining amount to pay for my brother's funeral.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I am now living in a decent spacious house that I didn't know I could afford to stay at a point in time since before the transfer I was living in a stressful life as my previous house had collapsed and I got refugee at my parent's kitchen rendering me to be homeless which lead to my wife leaving our matrimonial home as she had looked down upon.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by explaining to my villages what it entailed on the onset of the transfer related program. It went and extra-mile of explaining the intent of the money that was being sent.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to buy building materials as l am planning to build my own house, since my house collapsed and l am now staying in my father's house. The remaining balance l spent to buy 1 sack of maize.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am now sure of having my own house again and for that reason l will no longer stay in my father's home.

I spent most of my second transfer to buy household items which I did not have and also bought a much bigger bed than the one I had.

When I received my money, I was very happy and felt very light because a burden has been taken off my shoulder. Thank you GD.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part of the transfer, to build a house, because I don't have one right now. Secondly, I intend to use another part of the transfer to buy two cows, that I would pay as dowry for my wife. Lastly, I intend to use the remaining amount to buy furniture.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Having planted ten trees that I intend to sell in future, for an income, is the achievement I'm proudest of.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is, inadequate income to build my own house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, after I have earned some income from my casual work.
