How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
With the recent transfer, i completed the payment of my new house and paid my children balance school fees. Life is now better than before. I have a decent sleeping place and my children are in school. I can now handle my own money, i am now stress free. Thanks again for reducing poverty in my household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well because since in my life, I haven't received such assistance. I was excited because my life is now better than before. Thanks to GiveDirectly. All was well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to pay two cashual workers to start molding dirt bricks for my house . I want to start molding dirt bricks for my house project because rain will soon start to fall heavily and it will hinder building process. Since birth, I have never received such money from anyone as free gift. I am grateful for everything Givedirectly did for me. I believe that with my transfer , I will build my own house in this village to relocate from my family house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is really helping to empowered the community financially. Through Givedirectly direct cash support to recipients, many families who were unable to take care of thier families are now sending their children to schools and even feeding them regularly. Thanks to Givedirectly for helping to empower the entire community financially. I believe that few months from now, every house in this village roofs will change from thacth to zincs. Every work Givedirectly is doing in this village is unique and doesnot need any improvement.

I used my most recent transfer to Pay two cashual workers to start molding 1500 pieces of bricks for my house . My plan is to build two bed rooms house. I am very excited for the level of joyed Givedirectly brought to me .I am saving my balance transfer to buy one cartoon of assorted zinc nails and buy one 25kg bag of rice to feed the contractors . I believe that with my transfer friom Givedirectly, I will soon own a house in this village.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
When I got my first transfer, I bought two bundles of zinc to build my house. I live in a family house. It has been in my plan to build house, but I was not having money to do so. One of my new goals is to buy cement and improve the room I am currently living in. Another goal I have is to pay my daughter school fees. I appreciate GiveDirectly for this transfer that is enabling me to achieve beyond my dreams.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has started transforming the lives of every family in this community through the transfers we are recieving. GiveDirectly staff are willing to walk to our houses everytime to make sure we receive our transfer. The program is well organised and there is not corruption. In my opinion, GiveDirectly is doing everything well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have planned to spend my transfer on two important things. I want to buy cement to improve my room in the house I am living in. I live in a big family house. I have a plan to build my own house with my GiveDirectly transfer, but I want to improve the room I am currently living in. I also want to use portion of my money to pay my daughter's school fees. I know when she is educated, my future will be better. I appreciate GiveDirectly for this great help.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I wake up early morning sating infront of my house, I hear people shouting that givedirectly has sent them money, so while I was asking, I just hear a message ring on my phone. luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in it. I was very much happy and rejoicing that day. I was happy because I was not having money to paid my children school fees, to even get food to eat a day used to be very difficult for me. I will have to farm the whole day just to get money. I'm thankful to GiveDirectly for their support. at least now my children will go to school
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I'm able to buy my zinc to change my leaking roof. My children are all healthy and in school due to the help of givedirectly. Now I have money to support my family.

When I received my transfer I was able to buy Iron sheets that cause 30, 000 LD. and I bought enough of food for my children and I, I registered my children in school. the rest of my transfer I was able to buy zinc to improved my leaking roof.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I get this transfer, I will use it to finish my house construction and use the balance to sell.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months I have had life for which I am grateful, unlike that, I jus lost my daughter own father which has cost me tears.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I want to do business but I dont have money. My daughter is in Monrovia and she needs ro to go shool but i dont have enough money for that.
