What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to pay school fees for my children because they were demand them from school. I also used some of the money to renovate my house because my floor was dusty so I had to cement it. Then I also bought food for my famiky as they were starving due to famine which struck the village.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I now have a good house which i didn't expect to have at this time than it would have been if i hadn't recieved, I would be still sleeping on a dusty floor

In my opinion, there is nothing that GiveDirectly has not done well

I used my second transfer to buy a plot of land because i was having a small piece of land which wasn't enough for me to cultivate enough food

The biggest difference in my daily life is that i have more land to cultivate more food for my children

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to deposit on land. The plot on which we have a house is really small with no room for expansion so I am buying land so that we can build a bigger house for the family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I received money that i kept on waking up in the night to check on my MoMO account if the money was still there.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the cash transfer on purchasing a piece of land for farming,this will help me increase my household income incase we expand our farming.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I did buy a hen and a cock, they multiplied and i sold them and bought a goat that also multiplied and i sold them and bought a cow.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have ever faced is having no enough land to expand farming to feed my family and increase on my household income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during evening hours when my children come back from school healthier and i chat with them about what they studied.
