How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because I live a decent life with good and conducive accomodation because I have plastered my house. Before, I used to sleep in a house that was not platsered which could make it cold at night.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through empowering us with money that we have spent for improving our homesteds like building Permanent houses. I have not seen what GiveDirectly has failed to do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 450000 for buying cement for plastering my permanent house. I bought Windows at UGX 210000, an ox plough costed UGX 250000 in order to support in animal traction. I have my wife UGX 100000 for buying utensils, I bought a mattress worth UGX 120000, a blanket UGX 20000, clothes costed UGX 69000, feeding UGX 113000, I paid labourers worth UGX 100000 and the balance of UGX 200000,I have saved for taking care of household feeding.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have apiece of mind since I was able to pay off the remaining balance of the land I had earlier on deposited some money.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I showed my wife the message and she jumped and shouted in joy to the extent that our children joined us in our happy and danced while thanking GD for the financial support.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy agricultural land at 1,500,000ugx and savings worth 200,000ugx.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a piece of land, complete the construction of my house, buy a cow that can reproduce in the long run, cater for the scholastic needs of my children and buy household items.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with other members of the community at the centre.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of land for cultivation.
