How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I recently bought a calf within the last four months and I am so happy seeing it grow day by day. Having this calf is not only a source of pride for me but also acts as a saving in a way because when it eventually grows to its adulthood, I know that it will give birth to its offspring which I may sell out just in case I run out of cash in the unforeseeable future.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a plan of starting a small scale business in order to keep my children in school so that they spend their time in school rather than being sent away from school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference for me is that I was able to pay school fees for my children who were able top go to school without being sent away due to pending arrears. Initially the kids could never attend school for three consecutive months without being sent away.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change a lot because for one I have a plan of making sure that I fully venture into the small scale business sop that i can be able to get some little profit that can keep my family afloat as we move on into the unforeseeable future.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I would really like to renovate my house, but if the money is not enough, then I will buy livestock that I can even sell later when I am in need of money to pay my children's school.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I not received the transfer, I would have to sell my farm produce to raise money for fees and other household requirements, now I don't have to so,thanks to GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?

Since I received the payments,I have been able to clear my son's fees which has always been a problem to me.I can now save my farm produce that I would have sold to raise the money for future use.I am also able to buy proper food for my family without the worry of them going to bed hungry.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I currently face is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children. Our main source of income is rain fed subsistence farming but this is often not enough to cater for their school fees. If I am unable to raise the required fees they may have to defer their studies and this will really demoralise them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up. I am usually very happy because at that time I have not had any interactions with anyone who might annoy me or make me angry.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to pay school fees for my two sons who are learning at a local secondary school. I will also give part of the money to my husband, he will add the cash to his transfers and pay college fees for my daughter who is training to be a early childhood education teacher.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having tilled my farm when I initially settled here and managed to get a bumper harvest. The proceeds from the sale of my harvest enabled me to buy a goat which gave birth to two kids, sadly one died but the other one is still surviving.
