What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first installment i want to invest in my business of selling banana juice to be able to generate more income and I also plan to renovate my house and buy matress, beds , food and clothes for my family and the balance i want to buy a land. The second installment i plan to pay for school fees for my children and i plan to buy livestocks, i want to buy a cow for $400 and the balance i plan to save it for the future. Receiving this money means reaching to my dreams , it will help me enhance my business and expand to be able to generate more sustainable income and this will be an opportunity for me to come out of poverty.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We have recently benefited from a new road that was constructed in our neighboring sector which is helping us alot in our activities, we currently have easy access to hospital, market and school and we were given access to clean water and we no longer suffer from disease caused by polluted water. We have recently received solar panels and now we no longer live in the dark and my children are able to revise after school which helps them perfom even better and this gives me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Not having enough capital is my greatest challenge, I started raising livestocks recently but to be able to expand and buy more additional livestocks requires more capital which we can not get because we don't have access to loans. And i try to sell banana juice to be able to gain money to use in our home expenses but we do face some loses because we sell on credit most of the time and they all mainly fall into bad debts. My son Bosco had to stop his studies to help me out because I am a single mother raising all my 4 children, it is not easy having all that responsibility and sometimes i have to seek support from them which makes them leave some important activities or put their dreams on hold to help me out.
