How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has really improved in the way that we now have enough food for the entire household as well as a better sleeping place and better clothes..

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited and very grateful...I knew that the major challenges that I have been facing will now end especially that of leaking house..I'm forever grateful for this program..
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The major difference is that i can now afford to feed my entire family as we have enough food..I even manage to buy meat.. We now sleep better on mattress and beds.and no more sleepless nights due to leakage since its still raining..
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to maintain my house by buying building materials such as iron sheets and I have now cemented my house. I bought fertilizer seeds and some farming equipments..i even paid some labourers with the money that i received.. In my house I had few kitchen utensils so with the cash,,i bought plates,,pots,cups,,and basins.. Lastly,I spent the money on buying school uniform for my kids since the one they had was torn..I also bought them nice clothes and beddings..,

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Honestly we are very excited to receive this money we have planned to use the transfer to build a better house because we live in a tea room
What is the happiest part of your day?
Our favourite part of the day is during morning hours when we usually have something to eat because mostly we eat in the noon hours.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is finding food to feed this family and also a better place to live.
