How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am currently sleeping comfortable on my bed and mattress this is an achievement. I get enough sleep unlike before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly is touching and changing lives in our community. So far I have no record of wrong.

I spent my transfer to purchase a sofa set, a mattress, bed and plastered the floor of my house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to buy cement and sand that I used to plaster my house because the wall had started cracking and also the floor was dusty hence it was not conducive for my children in that due to a lot of dust they used to cough often. I also bought maize for family consumption.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy because I had never received such huge a mount of money before .
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have not seen any big difference yet because I received my first transfer just recently and still planning on how to achieve my goals.

I am not able to feed my family well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I go to my farm in the morning because I know that is where I'll get help.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My son who finished his primary education and I wasn't able to pay his school fees for further education, I felt this is another chance for me to take him to school.
